| elcome to Mississippi Stone Pottery’s ‘Wonderful World of Wiggins’ where you will find characters of functional high fire stoneware guaranteed to start a conversation at your next gathering. We are not your ordinary pottery. Mississippi Stone Pottery is never ’ production made’ nor are any molds ever made. Each piece is handled by only one pair of hands from conception to finish—the artist’s; lovingly sculpted, one piece at a time, with no two pieces ever the same. Once each piece is completed, it is signed, given a serial number, photographed, and entered into a large “family album” accompanied with a copy of the original story written for each piece that tells who and what the character is and what role he or she plays in ‘The Wonderful World of Wiggins’. Every story is written to make the reader smile and is as unique as the pottery itself. Not just for collectors, Mississippi Stone Pottery’s functional ware can be used in the oven, microwave, and is dishwasher safe. For the collector, more detailed pieces are made with excruciating attention to detail and can be completely customized in any way you desire. |
